A new fully-serviced business centre has been launched by Citibase in the recently refurbished Laurie House on Colyear Street. The centre aims to provide office space on flexible terms to the city’s growing number of small and medium sized businesses and start-ups.

Citibase, which is the UK’s largest independent operator of fully-serviced business centres, has just opened in the unique 29,000 sq. ft. building, which features a one-of-a-kind exterior with unique LED lighting display. A first for the UK, the artistic display is set to leave a lasting impression on visitors and employees alike – and prove a fantastic home for new and growing businesses in Derby.

The centre is designed to cater for businesses that want more freedom than a traditional office lease offers, without sacrificing a central location. Citibase Derby is a 24 hour access centre in the heart of the city, just moments from Friar Gate and within easy reach of the Cathedral Quarter, Westfield and Derby Riverlights. It also has great access to the railway station, Derby ring road and key A-roads. The fully equipped suites are also available in a variety of sizes and on a range of flexible terms.

Citibase CEO, Steve Jude, says: “We are seeing increasing demand for flexible workspace from SMEs and start-ups, particularly in Derby, a leading European ‘City of the Future’. Our new Derby centre is the ideal centrally located solution for these entrepreneurs who are the future of the ‘new economy’ and who do not want to risk their long term stability by committing to long and often expensive office leases and overheads.”

Citibase Derby will offer users an extensive range of fully furnished office spaces with transparent monthly billing, along with a long list of business support and administrative services including; range of internet and telecoms packages, meeting rooms, virtual offices, personalised call answering and car parking.
